Prom Hairstyle Countdown

Your Fabulous Prom Hairstyle Your hairstyle for prom will always be remembered, thanks to your prom photographs. Twenty years from now you will pull that picture out to share with your children and you will be reminded just how fantastically you pulled your look together on that special occasion. Great photos are a culmination of many planned elements. They do not just happen, neither do great hairstyles.

So prom is coming up and it is time for you to begin some serious planning in order to arrive there stress free and fresh as a daisy. (Oh yeah, remind your date to order flowers early). You have picked your perfect dress, gotten the matching shoes and handbag, maybe even picked out your special jewelry accessories, but have you chosen your hairstyle? Better yet, have you scheduled your prom day appointment with your stylist or beauty salon? Better call today. Many young ladies may need that time slot depending on wedding plans, and other girls that are going to prom this season too. Salon schedules fill up quickly this time of year.

Schedule Your Prom Day Hair Appointment

When you call to make that appointment, you may also want to make an earlier appointment, say a month ahead of the prom date, just to get your hair in shape. Beautiful hairstyles begin with healthy hair. You can take the expense out of this by preparing your hair at home. Be sure to use quality hair products every day, from moisture rich shampoo and conditioner to protective hairstyling mousse, gel, and even heat conditioning curling iron and blow dryer products. Dead ends need to be trimmed by your stylist, but you can help limit damage and split ends with proper home hair care.

You need to use quality hair care products. This is not where you want to skimp, but you do not have to spend a fortune either. There are many complete hare care lines, such as Pantene® and TRESemme´®, just to name a few, at your local drug stores or shopping centers that will help get and keep your hair healthy, at a fraction of the expense of hair salon products. If, however, you have extremely damaged, weak, or over processed hair, your stylist may have products available in her salon that can repair your hair and give you a great basis for a great hairstyle. They will be a little more expensive, but a little professional guidance can be the answer to your issue. Do not be afraid to ask.
